Arilee DeRamus Gibson passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her family on Tuesday, April 23, 2013. She was 88. She was born to the late Neal and Bertha Deramus. She is survived by her children, Linda Gibson, Stella Ponzo (Alfred), Shirley Harvey, and the late Coleman Gibson; nine grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren, three great-great-grandchildren; and a host of other family and friends. A Celebration of Life service will be held at 6:30 p.m. on Wed., May 1, 2013, at Simpson UM Church, 907 Centerville Rd, Wilm., viewing from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. Final Homegoing Service and burial will take place Sat., May 4, 2013 in Autaugaville, Ala. Arrangements by Congo Funeral Home.
