The Delaware Department of Natural Resources and Environmental Control has proposed some amendments to fishing regulations in the state. One of them reads, “It is prohibited for any person or persons to paddle bait out into the waters for the purpose of fishing.” Because many anglers use kayaks when shark fishing, they believe this change could be a “prohibition” on that activity. Do you fish for sharks this way? What are your thoughts about this proposal?

Delaware’s shoreline is very shallow. To get any depth, you need to get the line out. They are restricting every way you can possibly get a line out into deeper water. It’s Delaware — all about control, the Democrats’ way. Two hundred years of history has proven it. — Jeff Grzeszczak
