Archie James Tucker

WYOMING - Archie James Tucker passed away July 30, 2011, at Kent General Hospital. He was 59. Archie was born on Aug. 3, 1951, in New Castle, son of the late Ralph and Irene Tucker. He served his country proudly in the U.S. Army during Vietnam. Archie had worked as an over the road truck driver. He was a member of the American Legion and the Camden-Wyoming Moose Lodge. Archie is survived by three children, Tami Tucker of Marydel, Joshua Tucker of Hartly, and Christopher Tucker of Felton; two sisters, Joann Hammond of Millsboro and Ethel Evans of Marydel, Md.; 15 grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren. Services will be 3 p.m., Thursday, Aug. 4, at the Pippin Funeral Home, 119 W. Camden-Wyoming Ave., Wyoming, where friends may gather two hours earlier. Burial will be private. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to the funeral home to help with expenses. Letters of condolence can be sent via www.pippinfuneralhome.com.
