The person said it was likely a vote would be taken on whether to bar such players from returning to play in the conference. It was unclear whether athletic directors or school presidents would be voting. The person spoke anonymously because the Big Ten had not formally announced its plans for addressing the matter.

CRI--ENGLAND-OFF-FIELD PROBLEMS
English cricket and its drinking problem: Another nightclub incident leaves Root ‘hacked off’
SUMMARY: Having a post-match drink with teammates and sometimes rivals is a cricketing tradition as old as time. The English might be taking it to extremes. The off-field conduct and drinking habits of England’s men’s squad are back under scrutiny this week after another nightclub incident involving one of its players. This time it was 31-year-old fast bowler Brydon Carse. Images of him outside a club in the early hours of Sunday wearing handcuffs and surrounded by police officers came days after a plea by newly appointed England captain Joe Root for his players to behave better off the field. Root says he is “hacked off” and that England’s players “continually keep making stupid mistakes.”
