SOC--MAN CITY--HAALAND’S CELEBRATION
Haaland pulls out robot celebration after scoring again for Man City
SUMMARY: Manchester City striker Erling Haaland is a scoring machine and his new goal celebration reflects it. After netting the first of his two goals in the first half against Bournemouth in the Premier League, Haaland wheeled away and came to a stop before moving like a robot. The prolific Norway striker likes to celebrate his goals in different ways. Perhaps his best-known is the yoga meditation pose while sitting down. Haaland has said he is in the form of his life. He now has 26 goals in 16 games for club and country this season, and has scored two goals in each of his last four home league games for City, which beat Bournemouth 3-1.

SOC--ENGLISH ROUNDUP
Haaland double powers Man City to win after Donnarumma mistake
SUMMARY: Erling Haaland’s latest double covered over a bad mistake from Gianluigi Donnarumma in Manchester City’s 3-1 win over Bournemouth that lifted the team into second place in the Premier League. Haaland moved onto 13 goals for the campaign by running clear from passes by Rayan Cherki to finish one-on-one chances in the 17th and 33rd minutes. Between those goals, Bournemouth equalized after Donnarumma attempted to punch clear an inswinging corner, only to misjudge it and pat the ball down in front of him. U.S. midfielder Tyler Adams swept home the loose ball. Nico O’Reilly scored City’s third goal. Arsenal leads City by six points. West Ham beat Newcastle 3-1 in the other game.

SOC--WOLVES-MANAGER FIRED
Wolves fires Pereira with Wanderers in last place in the Premier League after 10 games without a win
SUMMARY: Wolverhampton Wanderers has fired manager Vitor Pereira after a winless start to the season left the team in last place in the Premier League. Pereira joined Wolves in December when the team was in next-to-last place in the league, secured its survival in the lucrative top flight by April and was handed a new three-year contract in September. However Wolves has entered November with just two points after 10 games in the Premier League by losing eight times and drawing twice. Pereira’s final game in charge was a 3-0 loss at Fulham on Saturday. Wolves says “results and performances this term have fallen below acceptable standards, and as a result a change in leadership was deemed necessary.”

BKC--TILTED COURT
Imagine an NBA where teams in the Eastern Conference have a salary cap twice as big as those in the West. In college basketball, it’s sort of like that. With schools now allowed to shell out $20.5 million to their players, most are doling out the lion’s share to football players and giving whatever’s left to the hoops stars. By Eddie Pells.
