SUMMARY: Marcus Freeman has expressed confidence in CJ Carr’s potential despite Notre Dame’s 27-24 loss to Miami on Sunday. Carr, a freshman quarterback, threw his first collegiate touchdown during the game, showcasing his playmaking skills. Although Carr had an uneven performance, he nearly helped the Fighting Irish rally from a 14-point deficit. Freeman believes Carr’s high ceiling and strong preparation will lead to future success. The game plan aimed to create easy decisions for Carr, but adjustments are needed to better involve running back Jeremiyah Love.
