A new documentary, “Darlene Love: I Know Where I’ve Been,” charts her life and performances, punctuated by Love singing such classics as “Christmas (Baby Please Come Home)” and “He’s a Rebel.” For Love, getting a spotlight all her own in the film is meaningful. For so long Love was denied center stage. Directed by Barry Avrich and produced by Taraji P. Henson, the film is a lavish tribute to a music great.
