Anthony Ronald Scarlett, 74 CAMDEN - Anthony Ronald Scarlett, of Camden, passed away Monday, Sept. 8, 2008, in his home. He was 74. He was born on Sept. 20, 1933, in Manhattan, N.Y., son of the late Arba and Maria (Occhipinti) Scarlett. Anthony served his country proudly in the U.S. Air Force for 20 years and then worked for Bell South for 20 years. His hobbies included stamp collecting and dancing. Anthony was a member of the Knights of Columbus and the Modern Maturity Center, Dover. He was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Scarlett. He is survived by his daughter Deborah Suto and her husband Gabriel of Camden; a son, Anthony Scarlett and his wife Ashley of Frederica; a sister, Mildred Crafa of Tampa, Fla.; sister-in-law, Niki Kallistratou; grandchildren, Niki Suto, Barbara Scarlett, Gabriel Suto, Tiffany Scarlett, and Rebecca Scarlett. Friends may call 7-9 p.m. Wednesday in the Pippin Funeral Home, 119 West Camden-Wyoming Ave., Wyoming. Mass of Christian Burial will be 7 p.m. Thursday in the Carpenter Chapel, DAFB, Housing Side, Dover. Burial with full military honors will be in Woodlawn Cemetery, Miami, Fla. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions to the Modern Maturity Center, 1121 Forrest Ave., Dover, DE 19904. Letters of condolences may be sent via www.pippinfuneralhome.com.
