DOVER - Anne H. Ackles passed away Monday, Nov. 19, 2012 at Cadia Rehabilitation. Mrs. Ackles was born Dec. 30, 1920, in Tolland Conn. to the late Steve & Katie Stachelek. She worked as a nurse for many years, retiring in the 1990's. Mrs. Ackles enjoyed knitting & time with her family. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Frank Ackles; son, Richard Ackles; daughter, Patricia Ann Bureau; brother, Joseph Stachelek and sisters, Mary Falotico and Rose Smith. She is survived by her son, Pete Ackles of Dover; sister, Patricia Matanis of Davie, Fla.; son-in-law, Bill Bureau of Foxborough, Mass.; grandsons, Joshua D. Ackles and William F. Bureau. Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Tuesday, Nov. 27, 2012 at Torbert Funeral Chapel, 61 S. Bradford Street, Dover, DE 19904. Friends may call one hour prior. Interment will be in Lakeside Cemetery. In lieu of flowers the family suggests contributions be made to Compassionate Hospice.
