Anne E. Draper, 92

FELTON - Anne E. Draper, of Felton, died Saturday, Jan. 3, 2009, at home. She was 92. Anne was born in Greenwood, the daughter of the late Oscar and Bertie Sammons Tatman. She was a graduate of the Greenwood High School, Class of 1934, and a member of the Greenwood Alumni Association. She was a homemaker. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Irene Jewell. She is survived by her husband of 70 years, Addison Draper; two sons and daughters-in-law, Robert, Sr. and Alma Draper and Ron and Cathy Draper, both of Felton; seven grandchildren, Robert Draper II and wife Suzanne, Anne Draper and Tom Rogers, Patricia Deputy and her husband Carl, Faith Frey and her husband John, Amy Draper, Shirley Lane and her husband Rick, and Beth Draper; 13 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 8 in the chapel of Berry-Short Funeral Home, 119 NW Front Street, Milford, where friends may call after noon. Interment will be in Hollywood Cemetery, Harrington. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Delaware Hospice, 911 S. Dupont Hwy., Dover, DE 19901.
