Anna Roth Cole

MARYDEL, Md. - Anna Roth Cole, 92, of Marydel, died on Tuesday, April 17, 2012, in her home in which she was also born. She was born on Nov. 18, 1919, to the late Stephen and Julia Bruncz Roth. Mrs. Cole was 1937 graduate of Sudlersville High School. She loved helping her husband, Daniel, on their farm especially driving the tractor. Her passion for dogs led to breeding St. Bernards for many years. She was a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church and enjoyed sewing, needle point and crossword puzzles. Mrs. Cole is survived by her son, Daniel Stephen Cole and wife Mildred of Marydel; granddaughter, Danielle Glanding and husband Thomas of Marydel; great-grandchildren, Hannah Glanding and Cole Glanding. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Daniel J. Cole; and sister, Elsie Heller. A Mass of Christian Burial will be 11 a.m., Monday, April 23, 2012, at the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, Marydel, Md. Burial will follow in the Templeville Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Sunday, April 22, 2012, from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Fleegle and Helfenbein Funeral Home, Greensboro. Box 399, Marydel, MD 21649; Hospice of Queen Anne's, 255 Comet Drive, Centreville, MD 21617; or Marydel Volunteer Fire Company, P.O. Box 400, Marydel, DE 19964.
