Anna May (Pavlik) Smith, 76 MILTON - Anna May (Pavlik) Smith, 76, of Milton, passed away Monday, July 19, 2010, at Beebe Medical Center. Anna May was born in Queens, N.Y., daughter of the late Emmanuel "Emil" and Gertrude (Palmer) Pavlik. Anna was a poultry grower for Perdue Farms, for many years, and a homemaker. She enjoyed crafting. Anna was a member of the Ellendale Fire Department Ladies Auxiliary and Loyal Order of Moose Lodge 646. In addition to her parents, Anna is preceded in death by her husband, James Courtland Smith, Jr.; a grandson, Matthew David Smith; son-in-law, David Stevenson; and her twin brother, Donald Pavlik. She is survived by four children, Donna Stevenson, of Lincoln, Richard David and wife Gail (Karlik) Smith, of Milton, William John and wife Rony (Swift) Smith, of Manhattan, Kan., and Connie Lynch and husband Tom, III., also of Milton; 11 grandchildren, Reese and wife Carrie, Kevin and wife Shae and Stefanie Stevenson, Vicki, Sunny, Raelynn and Cortney Smith, Christopher Smith, Colby and Ryelee Lynch; six great-grandchildren, Danielle, Daisie, Brandt and Drew Stevenson, Destyni and Kaelin Smith; a brother, Emil and wife, Kathleen (Workman) Pavlik, of Great Falls, Mont.; a sister, Helen Pavlik, of Georgetown; and sister-in-law, Helen (Milam) Pavlik, of Greenwood. A funeral service will be held Monday, July 26, 2010, at 1 p.m. in the chapel of Short Funeral Services, 416 Federal Street, Milton, where friends may call after 11 a.m. Burial will be in Henlopen Memorial Park.
