Anna Fisher Hooker

DOVER - Anna Fisher Hooker died Sunday, Jan. 16, 2011, at Silver Lake Center, Dover. She was 91. Anna served 24 years in the United States Army Nurse Corp where she had duty in Europe and the Far East. She retired as a Lt. Col. in 1969. She was a graduate of Felton High School, Delaware Hospital School of Nursing and the University of Omaha. She is survived by her brother, Harry M. Fisher and his wife Louise of Felton; sister, Claire Nashold of Frederica; three nephews, George Nashold of Milford, Mike Fisher of Dover, and Daryl Nashold of Frederica; and a niece, Tracy Louder of Felton. Her husband, Col. LaRay Hooker, preceded her in death in 1975. Private graveside services will be held at Barratt's Chapel Cemetery, Frederica, by Torbert Funeral Chapels, Dover.
