DOVER - Anna DeNigris, of Dover, died Tuesday, March 6, 2012, at home. She was 85. She was born Feb. 25, 1927, in New York, N.Y., to the late Michael Marchak and Mary Benio Marchak. Mrs. DeNigris worked as a bookkeeper and general manager for ICCO Cheese in Brooklyn for 15 years. She was a member of Holy Cross Catholic Church in Dover and enjoyed sports especially the New York Yankees. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by son, Michael DeNigris, June 15, 2003. She is survived by her husband of 60 years, Joseph DeNigris of Dover; grandsons, Christopher DeNigris and Michael DeNigris, both of Dover; granddaughter, Allison Herrera of Dover; and great-grandchildren, Caelan and Lincoln DeNigris. A Mass of Christian Burial will be 1:30 p.m., Monday, March 12, 2012, at Holy Cross Catholic Church, 631 S. State Street, Dover. Friends may call Sunday evening from 6 to 8 p.m. at Torbert Funeral Chapel South, 1145 E. Lebanon Road (Rt.10), Dover. Interment will be in Lakeside Cemetery. Letters of condolence may be sent, and guestbook signed at www.torbertfuneral.com.
