Ann N. Waples, 77 LEWES - Ann Naomi Waples was born on Aug. 2, 1932, in Rehoboth Beach, to the late Cora Ann Waples Waters. She went home to be with the Lord on Nov. 28, 2009, at the Cadbury Nursing Home surrounded by family and friends. She was preceded in death by her companion, Harold Stevenson; and her grandson, Kevin Shawn Tull, Jr. She was employed by Eugene Bookhammer for 50 years. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren and reading her Bible and doing Seek & Find Puzzles. She is survived by her children, Denise Thomas and her fiancé Mark Passwaters of Lewes, Kevin Tull, Sr. of Millsboro, Wendy Beckett of Norfolk, Va., Dennard Waples of Seaford, and Shirley Diem and her husband Kenneth of Millsboro; her grandchildren, Heather Pace and her husband Terrence of Norfolk, Va., Gina Thomas of Berlin, Md., Weldon Thomas Jr. and his wife Angela of Salisbury, Md., Shawn Tull, Jr. of Salisbury, Md., Latoya Waples of Seaford, Danitra Perry of Wilmington, and Danielle Diem of Millsboro; her sisters, Doris Fillyau of Georgetown, and Lillie Mae Marshall of Lewes; and stepbrother, James and wife Mary Waters of Snow Hill, Md. Viewing will be from 6 to 8 p.m., Friday, Dec. 4, at the Faith United Methodist Church, Belltown in Lewes. Funeral services will be 1 p.m., Saturday, Dec. 5, at the church, where friends may also call two hours prior to the service. Interment will be in Henlopen Memorial Park, Lewes.
