Ann F. Godley, 74

CLAYTON - Ann F. Godley, of Clayton, passed away at home, Monday, Feb. 16, 2009, surrounded by her loving family. She was 74. Mrs. Godley was born July 6, 1934, in Millington, Md., the daughter of the late Horace and Ella Mae George Fretz. She was a homemaker. Mrs. Godley was a member of the Eastern Shore Bluegrass Association and her hobbies included working with crafts and enjoying nature. She is survived by her husband, Clifford E. Godley Sr.; three children, Carolyn M. Hamilton of Farmington, N.M., Russell B. Knotts of Smyrna, and Rita L. Boyles of Clayton; a brother, James Fretz of Smyrna; three step-children, Clifford E. Godley III, and Mark B. Godley, both of Orlando, Fla., and Terry Austin of Clayton; six grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and two step- grandchildren. Services and burial will be private.
