Amazon announced that it has selected Wilmington University as a partner for its Career Choice program, providing hourly employees access to 150-plus certificate, associate and bachelor’s degree programs in areas like business management, computer science, cybersecurity and organizational leadership.

The university will also offer Amazon Career Choice employees streamlined admissions and waive its application fee, while delivering undergraduate and graduate degree programs 100% online or at convenient locations in Delaware and New Jersey. The institution has built its 50-plus-year reputation by understanding and fulfilling the needs of working adults seeking higher education.

The Career Choice program is a benefit that empowers employees to learn skills for career success at Amazon or elsewhere. The initiative meets individual learners where they are on their education journey through a variety of opportunities, including full college tuition, industry certifications and foundational skills.

In the U.S., the company is investing $1.2 billion to upskill more than 300,000 employees by 2025 to move them into higher-paying, in-demand jobs.

Career Choice has a rigorous selection process for third-party partner educators, choosing the ones focused on helping employees through their education programs, assisting them with job placements and offering learning that leads to career success.
