MILFORD - Amanda I. Parisi passed away on Fri., Apr. 10, 2015 at Delaware Hospice Center, Milford surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Milford on Apr. 27, 1975, the daughter of the late Robert H. Sapp and surviving Jill Niebert Sapp. She graduated from Milford High School Class of 1993 and obtained her Master's degree from Wilmington College. She was a member of the (DSEA) Delaware State Education Association and Delta Organization for Milford High School, which promotes English as a secondary language for teachers in Milford School, where she served as Treasurer of the Organization. Amanda was a two time recipient of the Milford High School Teacher of the Year Award. She was talented in many ways such as gardening, sewing and enjoyed life to the fullest. Her greatest love was spending time with her family and friends. She loved traveling with her loving husband, Tony and two children Jonah and "Alli". For the brief time she was here, she touched the lives of many, and will be greatly missed. Her paternal grandmother and grandfather Dewey Sapp Sr. and Ruth Sapp preceded her in death. She is survived by her loving husband of 14 years, James Anthony "Tony" , two children, Jonah Shane and Allison "Alli" Noelle Parisi. Also, her mother, Jill Sapp; maternal grandmother, Jean Niebert; and two brothers, Isaac Henry and Nathan Edward Sapp. Funeral service will be Sat. Apr. 18, 2015 at 1:00 P.M. in the Chapel of Berry Short Funeral Home, 119 NW Front Street, Milford, where friends may call from 11:00 to 1:00 for a viewing. Interment will be at Ellendale Cemetery, Ellendale.
