Alladeen Barbour

CAMDEN-WYOMING - Alladeen Barbour passed away Friday, Dec. 10, 2010, at her daughter's home. She was 76. Alladeen was born on Dec. 1, 1934, in Clintwood, Va., daughter of the late George and Edna (Mooney) Rose. She had worked for 25 years at Christiana Hospital before retiring in 1996. Alladeen was a devoted mother and grandmother. The joy of her life was her six grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. Alladeen is survived by her children, Sharon Roberts and her husband Dr. Bill Roberts of Magnolia, Robert Barbour of Camden-Wyoming, and Sheryl Stafford and her husband Michael Stafford of New Castle; two sisters, Wilma Bartley and Peggy Smith; and a brother, Gary Rose, all of Abingdon, Va. A memorial service will be 1 p.m., Saturday, Dec. 18, at New Life Family Worship Center, 226 Worship Lane, Camden. Burial is private. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations to Delaware Hospice, 911 S. DuPont Hwy., Dover, DE 19901. Letters of condolences can be sent via www.pippinfuneralhome.com.
