MILLINGTON, Md. - Alice Wilma Lloyd died Saturday, Jan. 4, 2014 at Chester River Manor in Chestertown, Md. Alice W. Lloyd was born July 29, 1929 in New York City, N.Y., the daughter of the late Joseph Reiter and Helen "Erhart" Reiter. Mrs. Lloyd was a graduate of Millington High School. She married her late husband Charles L. Lloyd Sr. on Nov 29, 1947. While raising her family she worked for Belbers/Leeds Travelware for maybe 36 years. She enjoyed family, friends and always having a yard sale at her home. She also enjoyed crocheting, animals and flowers. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Dorothy Burgess of Ithica, N.Y. in 2000 and husband, Charles L. Lloyd Sr. in 2002. She is survived by her daughter, Joyce Redding of Millington, Md., her son, Charles L. Lloyd Jr. of Millington, Md.; two sisters, Janice Bramble of Wilmington, Jean Edwards of Chestertown, Md.; seven grandchildren, Terry Lloyd of Chestertown, Md., Gregory Lloyd of Chestertown, Md., Cindy Lloyd of Chestertown, Md., Bruce Lloyd of Millington, Md., Amy Walton of Clayton, Tina Bensinger of Wilmington, and Melissa Walton of Kennedyville, Md.; 15 great-grandchildren, Alyssa, Samantha, Michael, Kevin, Kristen, Kendyl, Collin, Jessica, Taylor, Kaitlin, Shelby, Skyler, Kregg, Jason, Zackary; and two great-great-grandchildren, Malisa and John. Services will be held at 1 p.m. on Thursday, Jan. 9, 2014 at Fellows, Helfenbein and Newnam Funeral Home, 370 Cypress St., Millington, Md. A visitation will be held from noon to 1 p.m. Interment will follow at Crumpton Cemetery in Crumpton, Md. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be sent to the Humane Society of Kent County, P.O.
