Alfred Herbert Russell Sr., 81 PENSACOLA, Fla. - Alfred Herbert Russell, Sr. age 81 of Pensacola, died Friday, Dec. 4, 2009, in West Florida Hospital, Pensacola. Born in Oxford, Md., the son of the late Lorena Wharton and Willard J.B. Russell he was a meat cutter for the ACME Market in Denton, Md. He is survived by a son, Alfred H. Russell Jr. of Pensacola, Fla.; two daughters, Dorothy Carroll of Felton, Del., and Juanita Russell of Pensacola; three grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife Maybell Shores Russell. Services will be 1 p.m., Thursday, Dec. 10, in Watson-Yates Funeral Home, Front and King streets, Seaford, where friends may call from noon until 1 p.m. prior to the service. Rev. Faye Ballance will officiate. Burial will be at Odd Fellows Cemetery, Seaford.
