Agnes Reischman, 83

DOVER - Agnes Reischman, of Dover, died Thursday, March 19, 2009, in Bayhealth-Kent General Hospital, Dover. She was 83. Mrs. Reischman was born in Brooklyn, N.Y., on April 14, 1925, to the late Henry and Agnes Kunkel, where she spent most of her life. She moved to Dover in 1993. She attended Holy Cross Catholic Church in Dover and enjoyed visiting the Slots with her family and friends. Mrs. Reischman was preceded in death by her husband, John J. Reischman, in 1993; and a granddaughter, Mary Kerwin in 2008. Mrs. Reischman is survived by a son, John J. Reischman and his wife Claire of New York; three daughters, Kathleen Watklevicz of New Jersey, Patricia Mohr and her husband William of Dover, and Christina Emrich of Washington state. She is also survived by 23 grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held 3 p.m. Saturday at the Torbert Funeral Chapel, Downtown, 61 S. Bradford St., Dover, where friends may call one hour prior. Burial will take place in the Delaware Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Bear privately at a later date.
