DOVER - Aaron F. Casas, of Dover, died Tuesday, April 14, 2009, at Bayhealth-Kent General Hospital, Dover. He was 48. Born in Havana, Cuba, he was the son of Sergio R. and Emilia Franchi Casas of Dover. Aaron was a U.S. Army veteran and had worked as a heavy equipment operator. He had been an active person concerned with keeping in shape and enjoyed sports, especially football. He loved to BBQ for his family and friends and was fond of watching old movies, especially westerns. A dedicated son and brother, Aaron will be greatly missed by his family along with the many friends that he enjoyed. Besides his parents, Aaron leaves a daughter, Ashley Casas of San Antonio, Texas; a sister, Eva C. Casas of Dover; brother, Haroldo M. Casas of Dover; twin brother, Alexander S. Casas of Houston, Texas; brother, Angel and spouse Chila Casas of Ellicott City, Md.; and brother, Adan G. Casas of Fredericksburg, Va. Services will be 9 a.m. Saturday, April 18, at the Funeral Home of Michael J. Ambruso Funeral Director, Inc., 1175 S. State St., Dover, where friends may call starting at 8 a.m. Burial will be in Holy Cross Cemetery, Dover.
