William Mastin Mullinix

Mullinix, 82 HEBRON - William Mastin Mullinix passed away on Sun., Jul. 19th, 2015 at Salisbury Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. Born in Frederick, he was the son of the late King Jones Mullinix and Annie Rachel Gillis Mullinix. He was a US Air Force veteran where he served as a medical technician. He was a member of The Uprising in Hebron. He worked as a psychiatric nurse for over 40 years, retiring from the Eastern Shore State Hospital Center in Cambridge. He enjoyed gardening, singing and spending time with his family, friends and church. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his wife, Sharon Lee Snow Mullinix; two brothers, Vincent King Mullinix and Ralph Thomas Mullinix; and a sister, Emily Mullinix. William is survived by six children, William Martin Mullinix (Mona) of Hebron, Constance Ann Deardorff of Parsonsburg, Daniel Addison Mullinix (Kathleen) of Willards, Teresa Marie Tighe (William) of Finksburg, Sandra Lee Andrews (Craig) of Hebron, and Vincent John Mullinix (Beth) of Delmar, DE; and numerous grandchildren; great-grandchildren; and great- great-grandchildren. A Celebration of Life will be held on Fri., Jul. 24, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. at Holloway Funeral Home with a visitation one hour prior to the service. A committal service with military honors will follow at Springhill Memory Gardens near Hebron. Officiating will be Rev. Erik Tabinowski. Contributions may be made in his memory to The Uprising Church, P.O. Box 29, Hebron, MD 21830. Arrangements are in the care of Holloway Funeral Home, PA, 501 Snow Hill Road, Salisbury, MD 21804.
