William E. "Sonny" Hurley

SOUTHINGTON, Conn.-- William E. "Sonny" Hurley, 60, formerly of Cambridge, passed away on Tuesday, May 29, 2007 at the Bradley Memorial Hospital in Southington.

He was the husband of Lauralee Owens Hurley. He was born in Cambridge on June 24, 1946, and was a son of the late Eldridge and Myrtle Hurley.

Sonny was previously employed by Cambridge Wire Cloth, Ancra International, Connecticut Hypodermics and Boardman Silver.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by his daughters, Jennifer Hurley of Richmond, Va., and Rebecca (Hurley) Latour and her husband, Jason Latour of Bristol; granddaughters Anna Latour and Caroline Latour; and his sister and a brother-in-law, Shirley and Cy Pritchett of Cambridge.

A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday at the Thomas Funeral Home in Cambridge with the Rev. Douglas M. Ridley officiating. Burial will follow at Greenlawn Cemetery. The family will receive friends during the hour preceding the service.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Heart Fund, 4217 Park Place Court, Glen Allen, VA 23060. A complete obituary will appear in the next edition of The Daily Banner.
