EASTON - Willard H. Sterling, 75, died on Monday, Feb. 12, 2007 at Talbot Hospice House.
Born April 3, 1931 in Grasonville, Md., he was the son of the late Will and Mayola Mansfield Sterling. On June 25, 1966 he married the former Leona F. Mullikin and they resided in Queenstown. During this time, Mr. Sterling was working on the water and for E.B. Asher, in construction. After 12 years of working on the water and in construction, he began a career with the State Highway Administration as a heavy equipment operator. He retired in 1993. He and his wife lived in Crisfield for five years until moving to Easton in 1998.
Mr. Sterling is a member of the Easton Church of God.
In addition to his wife, Mr. Sterling is survived by three children, Shirley Lituski, Glenn H. Sterling and Brenda Sterling; a step-son, J.D. Buchanan; one sister, Donney Schlotzhauer; four grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were held on Friday, Feb. 16, 2007 at 2 p.m. at the Easton Church of God. A private burial was at Woodlawn Memorial Park, Easton, Md.

Arrangements were handled by Fellows, Helfenbein and Newnam Funeral Home, P.A., Easton, MD 21601.
