Wilbur Randolph Strickler

SALISBURY - Wilbur Randolph Strickler, 77, died Saturday, April 16, 2016. The son of the late Wilbur Goodwin Strickler and Wynona Keck Strickler, he was a fourth-generation Jehovah's Witness. He is survived by his wife Debbie; two sisters, Lois John and Mary Butler; two brothers, Paul Strickler and Dorsey Strickler. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews. He served 60 years as a fulltime Christian minister. One of the highlights of his life was attending the 39th class of Gilead Missionary School in New York. He served in Gabon, Cameroon and Dahomey for six years. A memorial service was held at Parkside High School Auditorium on Saturday, April 23, 2016. A graveside service will be previously held at Springhill Memory Gardens. Arrangements are in the care of Holloway Funeral Home in Salisbury.
