The Wicomico County Sheriff’s Office has made several most wanted arrests in recent days, a success Lt. Tim Robinson called “very exciting” for authorities.

“Normally we may get one a week. To get this many apprehensions in three days is phenomenal.  It says something about the community, that they are interested in working with us,”  Tim Robinson said.

“All of them were profiled on media sites, on PAC 14 and the TV stations. For some of them, we don’t have good addresses and we can’t find them. Some are deceptive about addresses or they move and don’t  leave a forwarding address.

“We are very pleased the public sees these photos and hears about these cases and are willing to call in tips to help us find them,” he said.

Allen Michael Ruark, 26, of Salisbury was arrested Oct. 11 in the 29000 block of West Line Road, Delmar, and charged with failure to appear.

Robinson said the arrest was made on a circuit court bench warrant issued in May after Ruark failed to appear for a violation of probation hearing in a burglary case. A tip was received through Crime Solvers that led to his arrest.

Ruark was taken to the Wicomico County Detention Center where he was held without bail pending an appearance before a circuit court judge.

Nikita Michelle Tindley, 28, of Salisbury was arrested Oct. 12 in the 1000 block of Fairground Drive on an outstanding district court bench warrant. She was charged with violation of probation.

The warrant was issued after Tindley violated terms of her probation, following a conviction for giving a false name to a deputy when she was arrested and charged with driving under the influence in 2012, Robinson said.

Tindley was in the Wicomico County District Court on $50,000 bail. A tip called in to Crime Solvers led to her arrest.

Samuel Jesus Gomez, 26, of Santa Isabel, Puerto Rico, was arrested Oct. 12 after being charged with violation of probation.

Gomez was dropped off at the Wicomico County Sheriff’s Office, Robinson said. He had been sought on a circuit court bench warrant since 2012, issued after Gomez violated terms of his probation in an assault case.

He was held without bail at the detention center pending an appearance before a circuit court judge.

Amy Beth Kellam, 41, of Salisbury was arrested Oct. 13 after surrendering at the sheriff’s office.

Kellam was being sought on a circuit court bench warrant issued in January after she failed to appear for a jury trial circuit court for driving while suspended and uninsured.
