CAMBRIDGE, Md. – Dorchester County Economic Development and Independent Newsmedia Inc. USA unveiled the 2026 “Water Moves Us” magazine Tuesday.
The publication is designed to promote economic successes and opportunities in the county.
This year’s “Water Moves Us” features stories on how the county is observing the nation’s semiquincentennial with Maryland 250 and Jill Jasuta’s cover photo of Dorchester County Town Crier David Rose aboard the tall ship Pride of Baltimore II.
The area’s history and values are shared in stories on the revolution-era Meredith House and the Handsell property.
The magazine recognizes the 25th anniversary of EGIDE, a high-tech manufacturer in Cambridge, and outlines the success and plans of the Fire & Risk Alliance tech campus.
The Fire & Risk Alliance center is positioned to bring hundreds of new jobs to the area.
“This edition features preservation, progress and promise,” said Editor-In-Chief Andrew West.
