Wanda H. Hearn, 93 DELMAR - Wanda Hovatter Hearn died Monday, Dec. 21, 2020. The youngest child of the late Charles Emery Hovatter and Ella Agnes Burns, the family moved from West Virginia to settle on the Eastern Shore. She was a 1945 graduate of Delmar High School and worked for Benjamins Fashions. Later, she worked at the Du Pont Nylon Plant in Seaford, retiring in 1985. She is survived by her children, Terry of Davidsonville, Suzanne of Delmar, Ricky of Delmar, Bonnie of Laurel, John of Delmar, Alan of Parsonsburg and Danny of Delmar; seven grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 58 years Albert Hearn; her oldest daughter, Sharon Bradley; eight brothers, Elmer, Delbert, Tommy, Gay, Wilson, Elston, Claudene and Harold; and three sisters, Etta, Leoda and Ora. A graveside service was held Wednesday, Dec. 30, 2020, at St. Stephens Cemetery in Delmar. Arrangements are in the care of Short Funeral Home in Delmar.
