EASTON - Virginia G. Yeatman, 81, died on Saturday, April 28, 2007, at the Memorial Hospital at Easton.
Born in Talbot County on Oct. 23, 1925, she was the daughter of the late Milton L. and Viola Jones Greenwood. Mrs. Yeatman was a homemaker and lifelong resident of Talbot County.
She is survived by four children: Paul E. Moore and Virginia L. Phillippe, both of Trappe, James W. Fisher of Preston and Samuel M. Fisher of Caroline County; four sisters, Vera M. Greenwood, Virginia G. Greenwood, Helen L. Greenwood and Shirley N. Greenwood; two brothers, Julius L. Greenwood and Milton S. Greenwood; seven grandchildren, Edward S. Moore, Jonathan P. Moore, Ricky J. Moore, Donna L. Moore, William L. Moore, Laura M. Cummings and Grant Phillippe and 14 great-grandchildren.
In addition to her husband, William Yeatman, she was preceded in death by two sons, William L. Moore and John M. Moore; three brothers, George W. Greenwood, James W. Greenwood and John T. Greenwood; and one sister, Ellen M. Greenwood.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Fellows, Helfenbein and Newnam Funeral Home, PA in Easton, where friends may call one hour prior to the service. Burial will follow at Whitemarsh Cemetery, Trappe.
