Tony Rodriguez

SALISBURY - Tony Rodriguez died on Saturday, Apr. 1, 2017, at Peninsula Regional Medical Center. Born in Ponce, Puerto Rico, he moved to the Eastern Shore in 1987. He served in the U.S. Army during World War II and the Korean Conflict. He retired in 1990 after 40 years of work in the Aerospace industry as a Machinist for Grumman Aerospace.
He was preceded in death by his wife of 67 years, Carmen, who died in December 2016; and a sister, Hilda Bayonet.
He is survived by a daughter, Anita Conway; sons Tony Rodriguez and Phillip Rodriguez; 11 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; a brother, Louis Rodriguez; and a sister Dora Clavell.
A Mass of Christian Burial was held Thursday, Apr. 6, 2017, at St. Francis de Sales Catholic Church in Salisbury. Burial was in the Maryland Eastern Shore Veteran's Cemetery in Hurlock. Arrangements are in the care of Holloway Funeral Home in Salisbury.
