RHODESDALE - Terri Lyn Parker passed away on Tuesday, October 5, 2021 at TidalHealth Peninsula Regional in Salisbury. She was born in Cambridge on June 14, 1970 and was a daughter of Sandra Adkins Murphy and the late David Murphy.
Terri graduated from Cambridge South Dorchester High School class of 1988. Terri had worked for Lawrence Bohlen for 10 years, Warwick Manor in Secretary for 21 years and she was working part-time at Hometown Pride in East New Market at her time of passing. She enjoyed cooking, working on the water and taking care of her animals. Terri was a member of First Baptist Church in Cambridge.
Terri is survived by a son, P.J. "Peewee" Parker and wife Brenda of East New Market; two granddaughters, Nicole Lyn Parker and Tara Marie Parker; her mother, Sandra Murphy of Cambridge; a sister, Christine Harrison of East New Market; a niece, Samantha Hunter and husband Mike and their son Elijah of East New Market; a companion, Mark Betts of Rhodesdale and his daughter Teresa Dixons of Rhodesdale.
A celebration of Terri's life was held on Saturday, October 9, 2021 at 12 p.m. at Thomas Funeral Home, P.A. in Cambridge. Rev. Randall T. Blackmon officiated. Family received friends one hour prior to the service.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to Baywater Animal Rescue, 4930 Bucktown Road, Cambridge, MD 21613.
