Suzanne V. 'Sue' Ward, 67 CRISFIELD - Suzanne V. "Sue" Ward, 67, of Crisfield, died on Tuesday, June 29, 2010, at her home. Born in Crisfield, June 6, 1943, she was the daughter of the late E. Dewey Evans and Estelle Venable Evans. Her husband, Thomas S. Ward died May 30, 2001. Sue was a retired cashier with Super Giant in Salisbury, and then owned and operated the former Country Peddler in Crisfield. Surviving are three children, Thomas Michael Ward and Fiancée Michelle Powell of Mardela Springs, Mark C. Ward of Crisfield, and Debra Collins and husband David of Gumboro; a sister, Diane Hinman of Crisfield; three grandchildren, Jennifer Ward, Joshua Ward, and Christine Ward; two great-grandchildren, Taylor Ward and Jenna Ward. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Betty Payne; and a brother, Bob Evans. Funeral services were 11 a.m., Friday, at the Bradshaw & Sons Funeral Home, Crisfield, where friends called one hour prior to the service. The Rev. Jerry Hughes officiated.
