After a 2-0 week, the Salisbury University men's lacrosse team moved up in the latest rankings, landing at No. 14 in the Lacrosse Magazine ranking and No. 11 in the United States Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association poll, the organizations announced Monday.

The Sea Gulls (9-4, 5-0 CAC) went untouched this week after taking on Marymount (Va.) University and Wesley College. On Saturday, Salisbury cruised past Marymount, 20-6, with senior Sean Fitzgerald registering a game-high four assists and junior Thomas Cirillo finding the back of the net a game-high four times. The Sea Gulls also took out Wesley College on April 1 on a blistering 17-2 finish. Sophomore Carson Kalama had a game-high four goals and sophomore Nathan Blondino posted five assists.

Coming in at No. 15 last week, the Sea Gulls found themselves at No. 14 this week in the Lacrosse Magazine ranking, and tied at No. 11 in the USILA poll with Union University, receiving 176 points.

Also representing the Capital Athletic Conference is Frostburg State University, who moved up from No. 18 last week to No. 16 this week in the Lacrosse Magazine ranking. The Bobcats jumped two spots as well in the USILA poll, landing at No. 17 with 76 points.

Salisbury returned to action on Wednesday at Sea Gull Stadium, hosting CAC opponent Christopher Newport University.
