PORT ST. JOHN, Fla. - Steven Michael "Mike" Spear, 58, of Port St. John, passed away Nov. 12, 2011, in Orlando, Fla. He was born in Cambridge, Md., on Sept. 11, 1953. He retired from the U.S. Navy in 1994 and was employed by the U.S. Postal Service at the time of his death. He is survived by his wife, Dorsie Baughman Spear; and three sons, Steven, Michael and Jason Spear. He is also survived by his mother and stepfather, Robert and Wanda Dillon; his grandson, Talen of Port St. John; a sister, Wanda Ammann of Leonardtown, Md.; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, Lee Spear. A memorial service will be held on Friday, Nov. 18, at Victory Baptist Church in Port St. John.
