Shorebirds begin long homestand Thursday night

The Delmarva Shorebirds make their return to Arthur W. Perdue Stadium on Thursday, August 4th, for a seven-game homestand. The series kicks off with a four game visit from the West Virginia Power (Pittsburgh Pirates affiliate) and wraps up with three games against the Lakewood BlueClaws (Philadelphia Phillies affiliate).

The homestand includes an Orange Camo Shorebirds hat giveaway presented by Spicer Bros. Construction Inc. on Thursday, August 4th. A Money Giveaway on Friday, presented by the Bank of Delmarva, and back to back Q105 Fireworks shows on Friday presented by the Bank of Delmarva and Saturday presented by Mountaire Farms.

Tonight vs. West Virginia Power

The Shorebirds welcome the Power to town at 7:05 p.m. for the first of four games.

The first 500 fans to enter the ballpark will receive an Orange Camo Shorebirds hat presented by Spicer Bros. Construction Inc.

Tonight will also mark a Kiss 95.9 Thirsty Thursday presented by University Village of Salisbury. Drink specials include 16-ounce cans of Miller Lite and Coors Light, as well as 16-ounce fountain Pepsi products, for just $2 each.

Friday vs. West Virginia Power

Beginning at 7:05 p.m., the Shorebirds and the Bank of Delmarva will once again be giving away cash to the first 1,000 fans through the gates, during the second-annual Money Giveaway. Cash awards will begin at $1, with one lucky fan winning a grand prize of $500.

Stick around postgame, as the Shorebirds light up the skies with a special Friday Q105 Fireworks Show presented by Bank of Delmarva.

For those looking to celebrate the start of the weekend, the game will also be a Froggy 99.9 Big Beer Friday. 32 oz. Coors Light and Miller Lite drafts are just $6 each.

Finally, the contest will mark another Orange Friday. All fans are encouraged to wear orange, and the Shorebirds will join in by wearing their orange alternate jerseys.

Saturday vs. West Virginia Power

Join the Shorebirds at 7:05 p.m. as they take on the Power in game three of the series with another postgame Q105 Fireworks Show, courtesy of Mountaire Farms.

Sunday vs. West Virginia Power - 5:05 p.m.

The Shorebirds face off at 5:05 p.m. against the Power on a Strike Out Hunger Sunday.

Fans who bring two canned food items for donation to the Arthur W. Perdue Stadium box office will receive a $3 general admission ticket.

Sunday's game marks the first Summer Reading Program Night presented by College Savings Plan of Maryland. This program provides incentive for our youth to take part in our local libraries' summer reading programs.

Stick around after the game, as kids will have the chance to run the bases thanks to Chili's Grill and Bar.

Monday vs. Lakewood BlueClaws

Monday's game at 7:05 p.m. with the Lakewood BlueClaws marks another 47ABC Two Buck Monday. All general admission tickets, hot dogs and 16-ounce fountain Pepsi products will be just $2 each. No coupon is required.

Tuesday vs. Lakewood BlueClaws

Every Tuesday during the 2016 season is a Two for Tuesday presented by Eastern Shore McDonald's. Fans who attend the at 7:05 p.m. contest and bring a receipt from a local McDonald's restaurant to the Arthur W. Perdue Stadium box office can receive a buy one, get one free offer on general admission tickets. Fans can also receive this offer by showing that they follow @EasternShoreMcD on Twitter at the box office.

All Tuesday contests also feature a Tweet Your Seat contest for a chance to win a prize pack courtesy of Eastern Shore McDonald's.

Wednesday vs. Lakewood BlueClaws

At 7:05 p.m., the Shorebirds wrap up their homestand against Lakewood with the final Silver Slugger Night of 2016, presented by Coastal Home Care. All fans in attendance will have the chance to play Baseball Bingo for their chance to win a prize from the Shorebirds.

Join the Shorebirds on Wednesday in the fight against prostate cancer, as we team up with Ed Randall's Fans For The Cure to raise awareness for prostate cancer.
