PARSONSBURG - Shawn Miguel Henderson died Saturday, April 14, 2018, at the Peninsula Regional Medical Center in Salisbury from injuries sustained in a motorcycle accident. Born in Salisbury, he was the son of Charles "Bob" Robert Henderson Jr. and Addie Henderson of Parkersburg, W.Va., and Bonnie Mae Hill of Gilbert, Ariz. He drove tractor-trailer trucks for Fed-Ex for the past five years and previously worked as a heavy equipment operator. He enjoyed working out daily at the Olympia Gym. He is survived by his two children, Cassi Lynn Henderson-Sparwasser of Salisbury and Brian Robert Henderson of Parsonsburg; six granddaughters; two brothers, Charles "Chuck" Robert Henderson III and Mark Ryan Henderson, both of Parkersburg, W.Va.; a sister, Kristen Twilley of Gilbert, Ariz.; his girlfriend, Di Ann Mello of Salisbury; and the mother of his children, Crystal Ann Mentecki of Parsonsburg. A funeral service was held Saturday, April 21, 2018, at the Holloway Funeral Home in Salisbury. Interment was at Bethel United Methodist Church Cemetery in Salisbury.
