State Police are investigating the robbery of Hebron Savings Bank in Sharptown on Thursday, Sept. 18.
Police said at 11:45 a.m. a man went into the bank, displayed a back semi-automatic-style handgun and demanded money, then fled with an undisclosed amount.
He was described as white, about 50 years old, 5 feet, 8 inches tall and 220 pounds, police said. He was wearing blue jeans and a white baseball cap and drove a silver P.T. Cruiser with dark sunroof and license plate number 4FYF79, police said.
Nobody was injured, police said.
The incident is being investigated by the Wicomico Bureau of Investigation.
