Crisfield - Sarah E. Morgan died Saturday July 19, 2014 at Aurora Senior Living of Manokin in Princess Anne, MD. Born in Virginia Beach, VA, on March 15, 1929, she was a daughter of the late Upshur and Alta Somers Adams. Her husband, Ernest Morgan, preceded her in death on November 7, 1993. A homemaker, she was a member of Mt. Pleasant United Methodist Church in Crisfield. She loved to read and do word searches. She also enjoyed embroidering fabrics. She is survived by a son, Calvin R. Landon and his wife Donna of Cambridge, MD; a daughter, Tonette Whaley of Princess Anne, MD; three brothers, Charlie Adams of Crisfield, Johnny Adams of Hebron, MD, and Jerry Adams and his wife Jean of Crisfield; two sisters, Mary Kyte of Princess Anne, MD and Annie Bozman of Windsor, VA; two grandchildren, Nicole Carmean and Samuel Jacob; three great-grandchildren, Vanessa, Macie, and Scott; three step-grandchildren; six step-great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews. Along with her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a brother, George "Buddy" Adams and a son-in-law, Sam Whaley. A funeral service officiated by Rev. Olivia Costango was held Wednesday, July 23, 2014 at 2:00 PM at Bradshaw & Sons Funeral Home where a viewing was held on Tuesday evening from 6-8. An interment will follow in Crisfield Cemetery.
