Sam Asmussen, 89 TRAPPE - Roland Keith "Sam" Asmussen, died Friday, March 12, 2010, in his home. He was 89. Born in Cambridge November 7, 1920, he was the son of the late Hans and Laura Hoge Asmussen. He was a member of the Easton Moose Lodge. He was preceded in death by two sisters, Charlotte Asmussen and Lucille Asmussen; four brothers, Elmo, Herbert, Philip, and Clifford; and two nephews. Mr. Sam is survived by his wife, the former Ruth Moore, whom he married November 8, 1953; one sister-in-law, Helen Asmussen of Trappe; and several nieces and nephews. A graveside service was 11 a.m. Wednesday, March 17, 2010, at Whitemarsh Cemetery in Trappe, Md. Memorial donations may be made to the Talbot Hospice Foundation, 586 Cynwood Drive, Easton, MD 21601. FEDERALSBURG - Beulah Mahalie Wilmer, of Federalsburg, passed away on March 14, 2010, at Peninsula Regional Medical Center Salisbury. She was 80. Funeral services were Saturday, March 20, Mt.
