DAVIDSONVILLE - CSM Roger Woods Haller, U.S. Army National Guard, age 49, formerly of Cambridge, died Saturday, Jan. 20, 2007, along with 11 other soldiers in a helicopter crash northeast of Baghdad, Iraq.

The family will receive friends Tuesday at Governor's Hall, Sailwinds Park in Cambridge from 3 to 5 p.m.

The family will also receive friends Wed. from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Sailwinds where funeral services will begin at 1 p.m.

Burial will be held privately at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, memorial offerings may be made in Roger's memory to a scholarship fund, which has been established to benefit Dorchester's youth to attend college.

The CSM Roger W. Haller Scholarship Fund, c/o Bank of the Eastern Shore, P.O. Box 757, Cambridge, MD 21613.

It is also suggested to memorialize Roger by contributions to the Dorchester County Humane Society, P.O. Box 132, Cambridge, MD 21613 or to the American Cancer Society, c/o Mrs. Doris Weber, 5163 Maple Dam Road., Cambridge, MD 21613.

Arrangements are being handled by Curran-Bromwell Funeral Home, P.A.
