HEBRON - Robert "Bob" Williams Jr. died Tuesday, April 10, 2018, at his home. Born in Newport, Maine, he was the son of the late Robert Williams Sr. and Edna McKenney.
He attended N.H. Fay High School in Dexter, Maine; and was a proud U.S. Navy SeaBees veteran. For many years, he served with the Maryland State Police and later retired from the U.S. Postal Service. He volunteered with many community organizations, including the Mason Dixon Woodworkers of Delmarva, where he made toys for children.
He is survived by four daughters, Shelley Robbins, Tina Dashiell, Robin Welsh and Dana Coliano; and three grandchildren. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Dorothy W. Williams; and a granddaughter.
A private memorial service will be scheduled for a later date. Arrangements are in the care of Holloway Funeral Home in Salisbury.
