PITTSVILLE - Robert Wayne Sellers died on Tuesday, Dec. 4, 2018, at Coastal Hospice At The Lake. Born in Parkersburg, W.Va., he was the son of Byron Young Sellers Jr. and Alma Elizabeth Hancock Sellers of Wilmington. A member of the Pittsville Volunteer Fire Department and the Moose Lodge in Salisbury, he worked for Matheson Fire Equipment for eight years and LifeStar for almost 20 years as an EMT. In addition to his parents, he is survived by his wife, Vickie Sellers; two sisters, Mary Sellers-Russo of Hawaii and Susan Sellers of Pennsylvania; two brothers, David Glen Sellers of Texas and John A. Sellers of Pennsylvania; and several nieces and nephews. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, Dec. 15, 2018, at 2 p.m. at Holloway Funeral Home in Salisbury. A visitation will be held one hour prior to the service. The Rev. Howard Travers will officiate. Burial will be in Pittsville Cemetery.
