TILGHMAN ISLAND - Robert L. Regan Jr., 57, passed away on Saturday, May 19, 2007.

He was born Oct. 21, 1949, in Washington, D.C., son of Robert L. Regan Sr. of Knoxville, Tenn., and the late June Jones Regan.

Mr. Regan served in the U.S. Marine Corps during the Vietnam War. During his enlistment he was awarded the national Defense Service Medal, Vietnamese Service Medal, Vietnamese Campaign Medal, Combat Action Ribbon and the Vietnamese Cross of Gallantry.

Mr. Regan graduated from the University of South Florida with a degree in hospitality and hotel management. He worked for several years for Donohue Estate in Talbot County. He collected and sold antiques for many years and was known for his artistic abilities to repair pottery.

In addition to his father, he is survived by two sisters, Donna L. Hoefle of Fort Worth, Texas, and Joanie M. Regan of Seattle; three brothers, James Regan of Glen Rock, Pa., Patrick Regan of Hurlock and Michael T. Regan of West Palm Beach, Fla.; and several nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held at noon on Thursday at the Zeller Funeral Home in East New Market, where friends may call one hour prior to the service. The Rev. Delmer Willey will officiate. Burial will follow in the Maryland Veterans" Cemetery at Beulah.
