CAMBRIDGE - Robert Emmett Jones Jr., 58, died on Tuesday, May 13, 2008 at the Dorchester General Hospital.
Bob Jones was born in Baltimore on Aug. 26, 1949 to Patricia Ann Lyons and Robert Emmett Jones Sr.
Survivors include his wife, Justine Jones; his father and stepmother, Robert E. Jones Sr. and Grace Seward Jones of Ridgely; his daughter, Kelly Price of Arnold; his son, Bobby Jones of Cambridge; his daughter, Emily Jones of Easton; his daughter, Sara Hartman of Chester and his stepchildren Jennifer Atwell of Frederick, Ana Carr of Baltimore and Adam Carr of Cambridge. He was the grandfather of Claire, Quinn, Erin, Annie and Patrick.
He graduated from Overlea High School in 1968 and then attended the Community College of Baltimore, the University of Richmond and Towson University. He worked for Baltimore Gas and Electric for 19 years and then worked as a hair stylist and barber at Meadowridge Barber Shop in Elkridge and at Chris' Barber Shop in Hurlock.
He found great joy in his friends, music, motorcycles, the ocean, and puns.
Memorial Services will be held at noon on Sunday, at Clearview at Horn's Point on the bank of the Choptank River in Cambridge. All friends and family are welcome to attend.
Donations in Bob's memory may be sent to the Hurlock Lions Club c/o Linda Wilson in appreciation of their gracious and generous support of Bob in his final days.
The Thomas Funeral Home, PA is handling the arrangements.
