Richard LaRose, 79 MILLSBORO - Richard Morrell LaRose, age 79, of Millsboro, died on Monday, Nov. 9, 2009, at his home. Born in Norristown, Pa., he was the son of the late Jesse E. LaRose and Elizabeth C. (Morrell) LaRose. Mr. LaRose was a 1948 graduate of Pottstown High School. He studied in Chicago and earned a degree in Chiropractic Medicine. Richard practiced Chiropractic medicine in Cambrige, Md., for over 35 years. He was a volunteer for the Red Cross and taught several courses including C.P.R. Richard enjoyed boating on the Choptank River, Md. Survivors include one sister, Alice "Sue" Suzanne, wife of Charles D. Garner Sr. of Pottstown, Pa.; one niece, Trinda Garner of Pottstown; one nephew, Charles D. Garner Jr., husband of Connie of New Hanover Twp., Pa.; and two grand-nephews, Charles "Chase" Garner III, and Jacob Garner. Funeral services were Friday, Nov. 13, 2009, at the Houch & Gofus Funeral Home, Inc., 955 N. Charlotte Street, Pottstown, Pa. The Rev. Barry Moyer officiated. Interment was in Augustus Lutheran Cemetery, Trappe, Pa. Memorial donations may be made to the American Heart Association, Southeast PA, 1617 JFK Boulevard, Suite 700, Philadelphia, PA 19107.
