SALISBURY - Richard "Dicky" Joseph Brumbley died Wednesday, Jan. 4, 2017, at Dorchester Memorial Hospital. Born in Salisbury, he was the son of Irene Johnson Brumbley of Salisbury and the late Walter Joseph Brumbley. The Vice-President for the Farmers Bank of Willards for over 30 years, he was a member of the Moose Lodge. In addition to his mother, he is also survived by two children, Tisa Brumbley Elliott and Kristen Lynn Brumbley; the mother of his children, Rebecca Parsons; two grandchildren; a sister, Sharon R. Cain, of Bethany Beach; three brothers, the Rev. Thomas D. Brumbley, of Port-au-Prince, Haiti; Ben Brumbley, of Salisbury and David Brumbley, of Powellville; and several nieces and nephews. A memorial service was held on Sunday, Jan. 8, 2017, at the Holloway Funeral Home in Salisbury.
