Reginald L. Sellers Sr., 85 VIENNA - Reginald Louis Sellers Sr., 85, of Vienna, died Monday, Nov. 30, 2009, at Salisbury Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. Born Jan. 2, 1924, in Steels Neck he was the son of the late Fred F. Sellers and Blanche Elizabeth Foxwell Sellers. Mr. Sellers had been a farmer all of his life in the Vienna area, retiring in 1987. He was a member of Reids Grove United Methodist Church and a former member of the Chicone Ruritans and the Dorchester County Farm Bureau. He is survived his wife, Emma Jean Sellers with whom he celebrated his 66th wedding anniversary on Nov. 24, 2009; a son, Reginald L. Sellers, Jr. and his wife Kathy of Vienna; two grandchildren, Reginald L. Sellers III and Kristina Sellers, both of Vienna; a niece, Connie Payne; a nephew, Vernon Boog; a special niece who at one time made her home with the Sellers, Julie Marshall of Millsboro and additional special nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Nellie Boog. Funeral services will be 1 p.m., Friday, Dec. 4, at the Zeller Funeral Home in East New Market where the family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Rev. James Bongard will officiate. Interment will follow in East New Market Cemetery. Jimmy Apple, Chuck Whitten, Reginald L. Sellers III, Bunky Bell, Harry Reid and Wayne Phillips will serve as pallbearers. Memorial donations may be made to Vienna Volunteer Fire Company, P.O. Box 5, Vienna, MD 21869 or to Reids Grove United Methodist Church, c/o Betty Wilson, 5314 Rhodesdale-Vienna Road, Rhodesdale, MD 21659.
