Rebecca P. Jones, 72
PITTSVILLE - Rebecca Parker Jones died Saturday, Jan. 2, 2021, at TidalHealth Peninsula Regional in Salisbury, surrounded by her family. Born in Salisbury, her parents were the late Bill and Claretta Parker.
She lived in Pittsville for most of her life. She was a dedicated worker with her vocational career in the medical field, where she served TidalHealth Peninsula General Hospital, Peninsula Orthopedics and Dr. Joseph Welch, while also assisting her husband's business, Robert D. Jones Construction.
She is survived by her husband of 53 years, Robert Jones of Pittsville; her children, William H. Jones of Dallas, Brian C. Jones of Vail, Colo.; a sister, Bobbie Aaron of Hurlock; and two grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Lynn McPherson.
Arrangements are in the care of Holloway Funeral Home in Salisbury.
